Sunday Sept. 19, 2010 "Be a Hero"Be a hero in the lives of kids by supporting camping through your presence and gifts. This is a MUST ATTEND event! Help support Camp Fontanelle celebrate by participating in the planned festivities from 11 am to dusk on September 19, 2010! Activities in 2010 include a buck skinner's encampment and demonstrations, hayrack rides, the petting barn, inflatable moonwalks, puppet shows, 11 am AND 5 pm worship led by District Superintendent Nan Kaye-Skinner, fabulous food, face painting, 2 acre pumpkin patch, pumpkin painting, archery, tree climbing on rope, pony rides, hiking, Sheltered Reality drum band, live and silent auctions, and the 10 acre corn maze. Plans are underway trying to secure an antique tractor exhibit. Even more fun is likely in the works! The day will start with 11 am worship followed by serving of BBQ pork, grilled chicken, hot dogs, and sides. Live entertainment and activities until 5 pm will be the order of the day. End the day with 5 pm worship. Besides the corn maze, laser tag, and pony rides, the day is a free will donation event. Bring your checkbooks and support kids at camp.
