Update on Capital Campaign & Building

Camp Fontanelle is one step closer

With the stroke of a pen, Camp Fontanelle is one step closer to breaking ground for
the Retreat Center.

On July 1, the Rev. Bill Ritter, representing Camp Fontanelle and GP UM Camps Inc
and Kenn Frederick from Master Builders Associates, out of Doniphan, signed the
necessary paperwork to proceed with the project.

The bidding process is nearing completion. The final project cost will be
determined when bids are accepted. Construction is still hopeful to begin this
Rev. Ritter had this to say about his signing the paperwork for the construction, “The first campers were
at Fontanelle the same year I was in Kindergarten. Since that time countless lives have been touched by this
ministry. I am very excited these many years later to have the opportunity to be part of this new phase in
the life of Fontanelle with the building of the Retreat Center. We can now all have the blessing to be part of
the vision of those who sacrificed to make Fontanelle a reality so many years before.”
Camp Fontanelle has secured a loan through the trustees of the Great Plains UM Conference to all the
project to move forward. But the job of the camp is not complete. Fundraising continues. Please continue
reading to see how you can make an impact in the ministry at Camp Fontanelle with an initial investment in
the capital campaign, or increase the giving to which you have already committed/completed.
