Ryan Siver hired as site director for Camp Fontanelle

The search is over! The Camp Fontanelle search committee has announced that they have offered the site director position to Ryan Siver (pronounced Sīver), current site director at Skye Farm in Warrensburg, NY to take over the lead at Camp Fontanelle. Ryan has accepted the offer and looks forward to beginning his duties at Camp Fontanelle on April 1.

Ryan has been in the camping business for 19 years and is moving back to the Midwest after being away for 17 years. Ryan, his wife, Amanda and their four children will have a chance to spend time with their Iowa family, as they learn all about living in eastern Nebraska and impacting the ministry at Camp Fontanelle.

“My family and I are excited to become a part of the great ministry happening at Camp Fontanelle.  We look forward to hearing from each of you, how camp has impacted your walk with God and about the meaningful traditions of Fontanelle that foster that impact on campers still today.”

“We hope that we can have the opportunity to share a meal, or sit around a campfire and take in the history and spirit of camp that each of you has to offer. Our passion is to share with all people that there is a God, God loves them, and God wants a relationship with them.  We look forward to continuing to follow that passion, as we join the work God is doing at Camp Fontanelle to reach campers and their families for Jesus.”

Current Camp Fontanelle Site Council Chairman, the Rev. Lyle Schoen shares, “I am grateful to the five members of the Search Committee for their work and deliberation. We believe God has guided our journey to this decision and led Ryan to us. My conversations with him have given me confidence in the future of our camp.”

Camp Fontanelle is grateful for the five person search committee: the Rev. Nan Kaye-Skinner, Travis Roberts, Jana Kruger, Trista Boling and the Rev. Daniel Kipp.

Camp Fontanelle welcomes Ryan and his family as new members of the Camp Fontanelle Family. We sing words of thanksgiving for the journey that led Ryan to a camp 1,295 miles away and pray for the gifts and knowledge that Ryan brings with him, to lead Camp Fontanelle in the mission of transforming lives.
