Best Wishes to our Program Director Joel Coleman and his family as they begin a new adventure at Camp Occohannock on the Bay in Virginia. Joel has accepted the position of camp director at this beautiful camp on the Eastern Shore and will be staring this position in September.
We are grateful for the focus on intentional Christian community for campers that he brought to each week of the summer. Through careful and thoughtful creation of sacred conversations and summer curriculum as a whole Joel provided campers with the opportunity to share and grow in their faith. By week’s end it surely felt as if they had known each other much longer than 5 short days and had formed connections that will last a lifetime. Our preschool groups will also certainly miss their hayrack rides and visits to the petting barn with Farmer Joel.
