Hiring: Assistant Director – Facilities

Camp Fontanelle is seeking a ministry-minded team player to join the full time staff.  The successful applicant should have basic mechanical skills, be certified in pool operations (or be willing to acquire certification prior to the start of summer 2022).  Certifications in lifeguarding, tree climbing and zipline preferred but will also train. Duties will consist of upkeep of facilities and grounds, basic vehicle maintenance to uphold safety standards in accordance with state and American Camp Association requirements, supervising staff, hosting groups, working with the other full time staff members to create and implement dynamic, creative, and fun programs for people of all ages. Salary range is $30,000-$37,000 depending on experience, education, and skills.

 

Camp Fontanelle is a United Methodist Camp operated by Great Plains UMC Inc.  Our goal is to provide Radical Hospitality in a natural environment where campers and guests can connect through Intentional Christian Community, experience personal growth, and enjoy God’s creation. There are 10 weeks of summer camp as well as 2 weeks of staff training. In 2021 we served 450 summer campers as well as multiple retreat and school groups.  In the Fall camp operates a 9 acre corn maze and pumpkin patch.   Camp Fontanelle is “A Place to Grow with God in all Seasons”.
